About Us
YourNewDesktop was created to deliver for small and medium businesses the same cost savings and productivity advantages that big businesses have been working with for years. A lot of companies will sell you a server, but our experience tells us that desktop computers are the place where the rubber meets the road. The real computer work in any business happens on desktop computers that are well designed to work with server technology. We love the idea of flattening the competitive business landscape on behalf of "the little guy."

Michael Nall (Co-Founder)

Michael has great experience working in large corporate environments holding positions like Director of Engineering. His work has delivered systems supporting ten of thousands of employees and one team he managed was responsible for the first wireless PDA. Michael noticed that most small businesses don't use the tremendous advantages that technology can play in growing their businesses.
As a complement to his extensive computer resume, Michael has plenty of regular guy experience: he worked as an electrician while getting his degree. You know, electrician: the light is on-- the light is off-- that electrician. After you find out that he engineered internet systems that served millions, you might just say he's a friendly guy who can appreciate simplicity. His first computer was an Apple 2, and yes-- his Mom yelled at him when he took it apart.

Sam Wong (Co-Founder)
"I love to solve problems, to do something good for the world." Sam still helps out his neighbors for free. Since he doesn't like to boast, we'll just clue you in that we're pretty sure he can whoop anyone you know at ping pong.
Sam has over 18 Years of Information Technology (IT) experience, working in many sectors including the federal government, investment banking, law offices, medical offices, internet startups, and retail shops. Sam once created a total disaster recovery site with parallel data for a banking institution- what that means is that they could move the whole bank to an entirely different location in under 10 minutes. Sam also has both feet firmly in the real world and loves to cook for his three kids-- he's still fairly expert with Burmese, Thai and Italian cuisine because for five years he worked managing a restaraunt. His first computer was an Atari, and yes-- when he took it apart, his Mom yelled, too.
